First Day of Camp vibes are here! We welcome you to the opening of Adult Recess Camp at Connaught Open Streets in collaboration with Sustainable Calgary. Together, we’ll help activate the park by playing games, crafts and learn about the inception of the park. WHAT’S AN OPEN STREET? Open Streets are programs that temporarily open streets to people by closing them to cars. There are numerous benefits to open streets, including reducing traffic and speeds, and creating new public gathering and green space. What is Adult Recess Summer Camp School's out for the Summer, so let's honour the childhood break with an old fashioned Summer Camp! Come together in select parks across Calgary and celebrate the nostalgia, wonder and fun of Summer Camp! Grab your friends and come ready to use your imagination, playful energy and feel the Summer vibes to get your Summer started!
